    Well, considering the fact that your niece is 12 years old, buiyng her the first two twilight books would be all right. However, it could be a problem understanding the books because Stephenie Meyer used a lot of huge, long words in the book that even could not understand and had to get a dictionary to aid my reading, and i was 14 years old when i read the series.There will be a lot of drama and killing in the first two books, and the topic of sex does not start until the third. So basically, if you think your niece is mature enough to read the book, then by all means, go ahead.Happy Reading.
